    Who We Are
    The Pennsylvania State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police is the Commonwealth’s largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers. The State lodge was formed on July 24, 1934 and currently has a membership of approximately 40,000 men and women in 106 individual lodges. We are the voice of those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving our communities.
     
    What We Do
    State, County, and Local members work side by side to serve the public and improve the law enforcement profession. We are also committed to improving the working conditions and quality of life issues for law enforcement officers through education, legislation, litigation, and employee representation.
     
    Who We Represent

    The Pennsylvania State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police represents the interests of Pennsylvania active and retired law enforcement officers of all ranks and branches of government.


    On June 27, 2018, the United States Supreme Court issued its decision in Janus v. AFSCME.  Not surprisingly given the makeup of the Court, in a 5 to 4 decision the Court overturned its own precedent that had stood for over 40 years.

    HARRISBURG, Pa. (June 21, 2018) – Fraternal Order of Police State Lodge President Les Neri today issued the following statement regarding the shooting in East Pittsburgh. "Law enforcement is a very dangerous profession. Police officers never know when rapidly evolving situations will lead them to the use of deadly force.
